What is Petvival?
Petvival is a portable health record for your pet. You can store vaccinations, medications, vet visits, and documents in one place, create an Emergency Summary, and keep travel paperwork organized.
How do I add records or documents?
Open your pet's profile and tap the add button. You can enter details manually or upload a photo or PDF of a record or certificate.
Is my pet's information private?
Yes. Your records are encrypted and only accessible from your account unless you choose to share them. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
How do the AI features work?
Optional AI features can summarize records or pull details from uploaded documents. The app asks for your permission before using them, and your data is not used to train AI models. AI results can contain mistakes, so always check them against the original records.
How do I share records with my vet or pet sitter?
Open your pet's profile and use the share option on a record or on the Emergency Summary. Only what you choose to share is sent.
Can I use Petvival for travel requirements?
Petvival helps you organize the documents, vaccinations, and certificates you need for travel. Requirements change often and vary by destination and airline, so always confirm with official sources such as the USDA APHIS Pet Travel website, the destination country, and your airline.
Does Petvival give veterinary advice?
No. Petvival organizes information but does not diagnose or treat. Always consult a licensed veterinarian about your pet's health.
How do I export my data?
Email hello@petvival.com from the address on your account and we'll send you a copy of your data.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, pet profiles, records, and documents. You can also email us to request deletion.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
If you have a paid subscription, it is managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Petvival. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I forgot my password or can't sign in.
Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen to get a reset link by email. If you signed up with Sign in with Apple, use that option again. Still stuck? Email us.
